Rafale Political War Intensifies After French Journal Claims Irregularities In Deal | 5ive Live

Congress president Rahul Gandhi intensified his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the alleged irregularities in the Rafale fighter jet deal. This comes after French journal Mediapart claimed that Dassault’s executive pointed to trade off within the Rafale deal. Rahul Gandhi said Narendra Modi must resign because he compromised with the national interest to benefit “his friend” Anil Ambani whose firm Reliance Defence was made an offset partner of French defence giant Dassault Aviation, which manufactures Rafale jet fighters. He also attacked Defence Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman who is on a tour to France, claiming that a big Rafale cover-up is underway. Meanwhile, BJP has responded to Rahul Gandhi’s claims and challenged him to come up with evidence of corruption in the Rafale deal.
