After videos posted to a private Facebook group appeared to show members using racial slurs and mocking certain groups of people, an engineering fraternity at Syracuse University has been suspended.
In a letter to students and faculty on Wednesday, Syracuse Chancellor Kent Syverud said an investigation was being launched. This in order to identify the participants and determine any legal and disciplinary actions that could be taken against Theta Tau.
The videos, Syverud said, includes words and behaviors that are extremely racist


According to Reuters McKayla Maroney the Olympic Gold Medalist who was reportedly abused sexually by the team physician has filed a lawsuit again USA Gymnastics alleging the organization forced her to sign a non-disclosure agreement about sexual abuse she endured from then team doctor Larry Nassar. On Wednesday Maroney’s attorney John Manly filed the claim in the Los Angeles Superior Court. Reuters obtained a copy of the claim which states that Maroney was forced to sign a confidentiality agreement in December 2016, because she needed money to pay for psychological treatment.


For 20 minutes, the Southwest Airlines jet was a normal flight from New York to Dallas with 149 people aboard. The plane was flying at 32,500 feet Tuesday morning as passengers settled in for the nearly four-hour flight. Suddenly, the alarms blared in the cockpit as what sounded like explosions boomed from the left side of the plane. Oxygen masks swiftly dangled from the ceiling.

In a revealing new interview with People Magazine, singer Mariah Carey reveals she was diagnosed with bipolar II disorder back in 2001 after being hospitalized for a physical and mental breakdown. Carey says, “I didn’t want to believe it. Until recently I lived in denial and isolation and in constant fear someone would expose me.
