I work in an office job (quality assurance intern with a government laboratory) but it doesn’t really have a dress code per se. Many people do dress business casual, but others just wear casual whatever. I used to always just wear jeans + a hoodie, but I’m trying to up my outfits to not look too much like a slob, while still having some flair to my outfit.
What do folks think of the jacket, sweater, shirt combo? I’m trying to find outfits where the jacket works? The idea here was the collar of the shirt poking out from the sweater gives just a tiny touch of a semi-professional look, while the sweater, leather jacket, and boots bring a touch of funky queer flair to the table without overpowering everything. Not even close to business casual, but a little more professional than the old jeans and a hoodie. I think it works!
