I ordered the same dress in two colors from Ssequence because I couldn’t decide online. Since they offer return protection, I figured I’d try both and keep one. Which one would you pick for a beach city trip. I want something that feels vacation-y, but still wearable for daytime wandering and dinner. Also, what kind of shoes would you style it with?

I’m 5'8", so I’m always hunting for dresses that actually have enough length and movement on me. The product page said this one uses around 5.5 yards of fabric, so I was like okay, drama, let’s try it.
The only problem was that I couldn’t decide on the color from the website photos. Since the shape looked promising, I ended up ordering both colors to try on, and now I honestly like them both for different reasons.
The red one feels more summery to me. I can totally see it in a beach city, walking around in the sun and then wearing it to dinner by the water.
The purple one feels softer and more spring-y. Like picnic vibes, maybe with a light jacket or cardigan if it gets cooler.
Now I’m torn. Which color works better on me? And how would you style each one, especially shoes?

I’m in my 20s and think both dresses are quite fussy. Any styling tips? They’re vintage pieces from my mum, bought more than ten years back.
