Some photos from my attempt to spend a day as Kate from Life is Strange. Honestly, this was the best ending to a summer I've ever had :)
I'm still pretty new to cosplay, and this was my first real attempt at taking it somewhat seriously. I hope I managed to capture at least a little bit of Kate's look from the game. I definitely screwed up her depressed body language and facial expressions. My version of Kate seems way too positive, even when she's being bullied or stuck in the Dark Room 🤣
I'd never done makeup in my life before, so I practiced it about five times throughout August (not exactly something men get much practice with 😅). I didn't have enough energy left to properly practice styling the wig, though, so huge thanks to my sisters for helping me with the hair!
Kate's actual hairstyle is more complicated, though, so there's definitely room for improvement here.
