UPDATE: I had purchased a structured sage green dress for this wedding and polled the group — I appreciated all the input! Ultimately, I was in my head about it and knew that I could never be fully comfortable! Returned it and purchased this red wine beauty off of showpo. It arrived just in time: two days before departure for the wedding! I think it was perfect :-) <3

I’m a date to a man in the wedding party. I feel beautiful in this sage green dress but I’m worried it’s too fancy? I had been trying on more slip style (third pic, red/pink/orange dress) dresses and enjoying that fit/vibe so it feels like a pivot to go for something more structured/shapely and now I’m just kinda lost in the sauce. If the sage green dress ain’t it, I’ll keep looking.
