So… I need help lol. Long story short: I am getting married on the beach and wedding dress is already picked, but reception dress is not. I assume I’ll need a reception dress because I want to take photos in the water with my hubby. The wedding dress is not really beach-y honestly but idc and so the reception dress doesn’t necessarily have to be “on theme” in that way either. It will be in early September and the reception is really just an intimate little family dinner with a little over ten people (for context.)
I have already purchased and returned THREE other dresses that didn’t fit for various reasons and finally landed on maybe these.
First one is Lulu’s (the long dress with long sleeves), then a City Chic one strap mid length dress, another City Chic with black trim (probably a no on this because it seems less formal), then the short dress screenshot is Ralph Lauren (just bought it), and last screenshot with long dress is Ann Taylor (I am most hopeful for this one, but worried it won’t fit.)
HELP! What looks good? I am running out of time and everything I can order last minute is cheap looking unless I rush order from thread up and that’s what those screenshots are lol. The dress code is fairly casual for the guests, I want them to look nice, but it doesn’t have to be black tie nice. More like button down and slacks or a dress and I’m happy.
