I usually do knee socks because they keep my legs warm but I wore a dress with knee socks the other day and people were looking at me kinda like… wtf? I don’t really know why?

Thanks everyone for your help the other day. I have another socks or no socks question. I feel like with no socks the outfit is missing something…it’s a little bland?
I bought this slip in ivory as well as black. Not sure if it’s as successful as a dress in ivory as the black. I’ll post the black too so you can see.
I did try short socks with the ivory dress but I didn’t like it much.

Not sure about these. Are they too high waisted? The leg too wide and straight?

They are button fly so I feel like they pooch out a little too much
I know my belly looks like it’s poking out over the waistband 😆 but that’s just where my waist curves and it looks like that no matter the size lol.
I have another question for y’all about a dress but I’ll post that later maybe. I’m full of questions lately lol.
Oh I probably wouldn’t wear this top I was just thinking I’d try a crop top since maybe that’s the point of high waisted jeans?

Ok this might be a stupid question but I have a few babydoll dresses that I absolutely love but I hardly get a chance to wear them because they’re kinda a lot.
My style is a lot in general. Ruffles, bows, lace, all of it, all at the same time please lol. I have fun with it when I have any kinda going out excuse but I’d like to wear some of my clothes more often.
This pink dress for example I’ve worn only a few times, I’d like to figure out how to make a more low-key outfit with it. I tried boots and a jacket. I know I can change the tights to solid black but I tend to look half dead in too much black.
Here’s how I’ve worn it in the past. (It tends to look kinda neon pink in pics but it’s really not that bright.)

I’d love to hear any styling suggestions you have :)
