Hello! This was my first attempt at cosplay. I went to a con in my hometown two weeks ago, and I'm really happy with how the costume turned out. I'm glad that there were some who actually recognized the specific clone trooper I was portraying, since it is only seen in a couple of scenes from Episode 3 (and a couple of LEGO sets lol). I also got called Mandalorian and Boba Fett a couple times haha.
I would like to talk a little bit about my cosplay. Most of the work is completely done by me, but the helmet was bought online, and so were the sling bag and the undersuit. All of the armor parts are made using 8, 5, and 2mm foam. I found great templates online by Tristan Maker on YouTube and Etsy. For primer, I used Mod Podge. For paint, acrylics. Then I sealed it with clear coat. The Kama is made from heavy cotton fabric.
I worked on this for about 3 months. I live in an apartment with very little room, so I had to do most of the work on the balcony. This experience was really fun, and I learnt different techniques and better ideas for my next project.
