Let me paint you a picture… so I’m really not big on prints like that, BUT I was in London about a year ago, and I went to this thrift store in Piccadilly Circus, right. I saw this pretty cheetah print coat, tried it on and fell in love with it. It was a bit chilly in London at the time, we were due for a dressy photoshoot in Paris in a few days, and all I had was a bomber jacket and a denim jacket with a hoodie underneath 😑 So this was perfect!!
I took a picture in the mirror and almost tearfully placed it back on the rack…I just couldn’t see myself paying that price for a thrifted item!! I walked out the store, consulted my family and showed them the picture. “I love this coat 😫,” I whined “but it’s ___ pounds. (Paraphrasing) I ain’t paying for that shit”
But the store was closing in FIFTEEN MINUTES. So I ran my ass across them confusing ass British sidewalks and made my way back into the store, because fawk it, I’m in London! I grabbed the coat so fast and bee-lined straight to the register. And I paid for the damn coat. Because why tf not, mean look at it!! 🥲 This is one of three cheetah print items I own, but it’s def my favorite 😊
