I'm 25 and I've struggled with body image issues for years. Now I'm way more confident and I feel good in my body: I'm a feminist, I've read some books about the way the beauty industry fuels women's insecurities for profit, and I've been consuming body positive content since I was a teen. I've found the courage to stop shaving my armpit, stop wearing make up due to external pressure and ditch diet culture, but I'm still a bit insecure about my breasts.
When I was 16 I got on birth control and then I lost a significant bunch of weight, that's why I have big, saggy breasts (75F/34DDD) now. When I was younger I wanted to get surgery, but it costs more than 7000€ and I'd rather spend that money for something that is more meaningful to me (education, travel, daily expenses). Honestly, I'd rather accept myself for what I am than make such a big sacrifice to conform to our culture's shallow beauty standards.
Anyway, there are some outfits and style I love that are designed for people with small breasts, to be worn without a bra. I love the braless look and its boho and carefree connotations. I don't mean to be sexy, I want to give a confident, rebellious and androgynous vibe. I'm not confident enough now, though, so I'd like to hear some opinions about the way I look braless: is the sagging that bad (the nipple is above my hand in the third photo) or is my body image kinda distorted?
I'm talking about outfits that aren't flattering with a strapless bra (which I find uncomfortable despite having a good quality, well fitting one) and are meant for informal events (going out with friends, parties, free days, etc). I'd rather avoid breast tape because I'm an environmentalist and it isn't eco friendly.
